Seeing Is Believing
Supervising inmate populations is made far simpler with features that let corrections officers
gather information on any distinguishing visual traits even allowing them to import photographs of
characteristics such as tattoos or other identifying marks.
Expandable Fields
Thanks to its expandable information fields, IMACS allows officers to easily maintain and add to
a database for an inmateĂs multiple aliases, addresses and known associates. Often complex tasks
are made effortless with IMACS simplicity of design.
IMACS uses the terminology consistent with incarceration management, with no tech jargon.
Computer degrees wonĂt be required for jailers to operate it.
Activity Modules
Throughout incarceration, IMACS lets corrections officials maintain and update a complete log of the
inmateĂs activities, including any incidents or offenses during their stay.
Any changes in the length of stay are easily made along with an accompanying explanation.
Jailers also can be kept current on any changes in an inmateĂs physical or psychological condition.
Information on administration of medication or any other needed treatments can be efficiently monitored
through the program.
With IMACS, corrections officers can more accurately and easily track, supervise and regulate inmate
activities, including work schedules, exercise and court dates.
IMACS also allows corrections officers to enter any alerts regarding changes in an inmateĂs status,
including in their physical or psychological condition.
IMACS lets jailers supervise visitors, minimizing possible problems. Here again, IMACS can be used
to alert supervisors so as to prevent inmates from making unwanted contact with any known accomplices
or anyone else who might cause problems.
Property and Commissary
In addition, IMACS makes sure that inmates are not released before any personal property is returned
to them. IMACS Jail operators determine if there is a balance in the inmateĂs commissary account, which
can be returned to them or applied to existing fines.
Post-Incarceration
IMACS usefulness doesnĂt end with the inmateĂs stay. Upon an inmateĂs release, IMACS will automatically
send any required notifications to law enforcement authorities.
Flexibility: IMACS adapts to your requirements
Not every jail or prison is the same. ThatĂs why IMACS is designed to offer maximum flexibility along
with security.
Open Architecture
Developed with Microsoft Access, IMACS has an open architecture that makes it far easier to integrate
third party products, and to import data from existing systems.
In addition, IMACSĂ open architecture greatly enhances the ability to interface with various systems
and equipment. This flexibility makes it simple for correctional facilities to control and define user
access to applications and data, and security can be defined to control Read, Write and Edit access to
application fields. Access can be defined by user or by groups of users as well. Entering information is
easy, with IMACSĂ use of user-customizable, drop-down data selections to reduce data entry and add
consistency. IMACS also can be set up so that specified information must be entered before the officer
can proceed.
